Andrew Klager

Brad: I don't know if you've seen this ( http://thinktheology.co.uk/blog/article/doug-campell-do-you-read-romans-like-an-arian ), but I found it interesting. It's a piece by Andrew Wilson, who I've only heard of through his review of Enns' "The Bible Tells Me So," which Enns' seems not to have liked (though I haven't actually read either review/rebuttal), though I'm generally partial to Enns. Anyway, it might relate to 2 Thess 1 or it might not, particularly the way that Paul seems to have been in dialogue with an observant Jew — which may work in Romans and Galatians, but not in Thessalonians; I'm not sure. The foundationalist/Arian vs. apocalyptic/Athanasian dynamic is interesting to consider too.

At any rate, I thought it was an interesting piece that may be helpful in other ways for you too.
