I was charmed, delighted and warmly pleased by Alison Whittal’s recently posted essay on Clarion on Chrysostom-Gregory of Nyssa and the Beatitudes--pure burnished gold—we need more of such beauties and finely polished presentations of such summit saints--the faith journey will be deepened, matured and wisely guided by sitting with John and Gregory for longing and lingering seasons of the soul--may Alison offer us yet more of her attentive insights and may we dine well at her laden and amply prepared table.
