Very well said Lazar!!! I know that I was a very hateful person back in my Fundamentalist days. I wanted to see people saved...and saw people with "wrong ideas" as dangerous (to their or other people's salvation) and wrongly and blindly hardened my heart towards them in what I saw as loyalty to Scripture (because I wrongly viewed myself as an expert own would be saved). Problem was that Scripture ought to make us love others more not less. We all got baggage and we all laminate it onto how we read Scriptures for good or bad: Christian (Protestant, Greek Orthodox, Catholic), Moslem, Hindu, Mormon, JW...etc...! Some of the good stuff gets through to us...some good stuff we project onto our scripture, but we are utterly blind to so much that could heal us or also what can harm us. We can know that we don't love others deeply...and walk in circles for decades not knowing how to change it (like I did). Thankfully so many people (Christians or non-Christians) have given me little truths that slowly over the years (decades) made me a more compassionate and caring person. I haven't arrived...never will...! But viewing the above video was like God saying...Rene you were there for a long time but I have brought you out from there to here. Kindness goes that much more further than hardness does. The Cross is the way...not the sword! Knew I hurt people with stupid things...and God seemed to let me do it over and over again...with me always wondered why He let me be such a poor example of a Christian... to so many people??? After all there were more than a 1000-things wrong with me and more besides...
