I'm most grateful to read this article and understand more clearly the degree to which Lewis and Griffiths were bound, both in belief and vision. I have read much that is available in the Lewis oevre and am in touch with the C. S. Lewis study center at Wheaton College (where I graduated in 1953 with High Honors in Literature and New Testament Greek).

Thank you so much for this article. Recent biographies of Lewis make mention of his relationship with Griffiths, but as you note none go into it very deeply. I will seek out your book on Amazon.
