Jordan Peterson & the Bible: Mythical and Mystical Hermeneutics - Ron Dart

Thanks for this. As you suggest, too often people read Peterson through the lens of their well-entrenched positions within the current culture/theological wars. This video should help those open to understanding his project within the surprisingly broad range of hermeneutical positions taken within the historical Church. And you are precisely right that his anthropological/mythical/existential approach to scripture is merely one step--though a big one--from the full range of interpretation of Scripture evidenced by the early Church Fathers and Mothers. I have sensed from the beginning that Peterson is being used powerfully by God, that his is one of the few voices capable of reaching those now deaf (for whatever reason) to the call of traditional Christianity, particularly young men who have been both abandoned (if not vilified) by our current cultural narratives. Those who doubt this claim should watch the following video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oll2hmdLNnY. Once again, thanks.
