STONES

One of Zeno's paradoxes claims to prove you can never arrive 
at your destination, as you must first travel halfway there,
then halfway again, another half always in front of you.
Forever prohibited from finishing the race. 

Another claims, lacking plurality, an arrow released cannot move forward,
Meaning roughly that at every instance of time, Right now!
it can only be at one place and if you are in one place, 
you cannot be moving. As time and life are only a series of nows, 
we are theoretically locked in place, 

Arguments against the Resurrection always remind me of these. 
perfectly logical and reasoned out, 
yet this morning I got to and from church* without any philosophical delays.

A simple walk proves them false.

Tangle yourself up in them and your  journey goes nowhere,
take them to heart and you're dead.
You will no longer find Him in the place of the dead.

When the scales fall from your eyes you marvel,
not at a different world, but one that has changed.

The issues, the proofs-- 
The flood, evolution, young Earth,
every one a stone they think will hold him in the ground.
Then he touches you. In Trinity.

Hermetically sealed, heretically sealed, arithmetically sealed...
no matter to Jesus, even with guardians posted outside. 

Trust me, you can't keep a God-Man down.
