Before Tolkien 1: Richard Wagner's THE RING OF THE NIBELUNG: Then and Now - Ron Dart
Comments
Dear Ron Dart:
I just watched your video "The Ring of the Nibelung - Then and Now"
Are you familiar with Paul Brian Heise's website devoted to Wagner's "Ring," www.wagnerheim.com? You may recall when you read the late Roger Scruton's book (2016) "The Ring of Truth" that he devoted a considerable critique to my allegorical interpretation of Wagner's "Ring" as found at my website. He not only wrote the intro to my website but financed it back in 2010-2011. In any case, I'm emailing you now to inform you that I spent years following up Roger's request that I rewrite my online study for publication as a hardcopy book and finally got the product of this labor published by Academica Press under the title "The Wound That Will Never Heal." If you'd like to order a hardback copy of it at the reduced price of $59.95 (I apologize for the high cost, but that's due to my being unknown to the general public and the publisher's need to to ensure a return on his investment), just contact the publisher at [email protected] and ask for the "author's discount." You can reach me at [email protected], or at [email protected]. I hope to hear from you. Sincerely, Paul
