I have an inspiration to write a series of blogs called: "If I were…"

These will be meditations on interactions with Jesus in the Gospels.

Trying to use my imagination as if I were the Biblical character with Jesus is even more fun than blogging. My hope is that I will get better at it as I go. Ignatius of Loyola encouraged his students to read about Jesus with imagination. And in so doing, meet Him in a new way.

What if it were you catching the fish, receiving your sight, or watching Jesus die?
