“Where do you lie on the political spectrum” – Poem by Becky Jaster
“So where do you lie on the political spectrum?”
“I’m inclined to rest somewhere beyond it:
a birds eye view, in search of truth
up a tree, I typically sit…
Ironically this feels much more like
a place of common ground
there’s plenty of room on this olive branch
for philosophical thought most profound!
A perspective that takes it’s pick
of roses red and violets blue
to make a bouquet
of varying hues
reflective of deeper values –
that make up our communality
and move us forward in love
to shared goals of meaning
outside of the system
where flies a little white dove.”

How Does “Dying For Our Sins” Work? – Brian Zahnd
How Does “Dying For Our Sins” Work?Brian Zahnd When we say “Jesus died for our sins,” what does that mean? It’s undeniably an essential confession of Christian faith, but how does it work? This much I’m sure of, it’s not reducible to just one thing. I’ve just finished...
