“Where do you lie on the political spectrum” – Poem by Becky Jaster
“So where do you lie on the political spectrum?”
“I’m inclined to rest somewhere beyond it:
a birds eye view, in search of truth
up a tree, I typically sit…
Ironically this feels much more like
a place of common ground
there’s plenty of room on this olive branch
for philosophical thought most profound!
A perspective that takes it’s pick
of roses red and violets blue
to make a bouquet
of varying hues
reflective of deeper values –
that make up our communality
and move us forward in love
to shared goals of meaning
outside of the system
where flies a little white dove.”

Dimensions of Love: Christology from Pentecost to Colossae – Martin Little

Understanding Biblical Violence – An ‘Oikonomic Approach’ — Andrew P. Klager
When we consider depictions of divine behaviour in the Old and New testaments, quoting a string of verses to support our favoured portrayal of God typically reveals more about the person who enlists these passages than it does about what the Bible actually says. We...
Armageddon Left Behind – by Brian Zahnd
